    Australian Hornet Ball 2014

    Friday, October 23rd, 2015

The Royal Australian Air Force has had a proud tradition of Hornet flying since 1984. Now operating both F/A-18A+ and F/A-18F variants, the land down under is most definitely Hornet country.

Big shout out to the RAAF’s mates in the USN, who also celebrate Fast Jet flying with a history of Strike Fighter/Hornet Ball videos.

This video is from the inaugural Australian Hornet Ball which was held in Sydney, 2014. It gives an extremely brief insight into fighter flying in Australia.

    4116P & M Aviation QuikR Explorer….

YFT took delivery of a new P & M Aviation QuikR Explorer on Sunday. The QuikR adds another dimension of flight training at YFT. The speed of the QuikR makes NAV training more efficient. The speed of the QuikR is around 80 to 100kts and this means nav training will be more advanced for some students.

FILE0006We were visit to Brankos brother and we flew to Partizanske airport. We had headwind and was quite strong thermal. The flight there takes 1hour and 10 mins. Back we flew with tailwind, but after 10mins it changed and we flew with ¬†headwind again… The return flight takes 50mins. We landed after sunset.

We have a nice time with Branko and Adriana.
