    Air Creation Tanarg Formation

    Tuesday, February 18th, 2014

    FOC07Tanarg Formation….

Last Saturday saw the perfect weather for a Tanarg formation around the cloud. Noel had his GoPro fitted to the wing and it was just right for Ken and Peter to get up close and personal. The formation climbed to 6500 feet before descending back to the circuit. The photo is from Noel’s wing camera.

    4617Another Formation Friday…

Another great day of flying was had and you guest it Formation time… Ken and Peter, along with Faye and Lorsion, a China Southern Airline student did a one hour formation training flight, over Lake Mulwala. This was Lorsion’s first time flying in very close formation. Ken thought he saw the SICK FAIRY on my wing for a wile, but no that was not the case. Larsion handled it really well.

I emailed a friend about the QuikR.

I asked Graham about the QuikR and this was his responce.

01G-CGVL - Blois 2011I love the Quik R. A couple of years ago I flew to Blois in middle of France from Preston in the north of England took 7 hours, with a 15mph headwind.

Airspeed was 95mph all the way. Have you ever flown the original Quik wing 10.6sq/m?

Its beautiful and light with a good turn of speed too.

I know what you mean regarding the back seat for teaching. Its great for a long cross-country, keeping out of the wind, but I’m only 5′ 7″ when teaching I have a special cushion to lift me up to see over the students shoulder. 2171aMost of my teaching hours have been on the Mainair Blade which has a much higher rear seat. The Pulsr has a great rear seat position for teaching & you don’t need a visor on your helmet. All the seats are easily & quickly adjustable.

We have introduced the explorer option wide wheels & wider pod a couple of year ago that has proved popular. Its very wet here in the UK at the moments & fat wheels just ride over the mud.
